The GPS which came with our car made navigating Iceland a breeze. We partially like the freedom of being able to stop when ever we saw something that interested us. Nordic Visitors website makes planning a trip to Iceland very easy.
All the optional tours we picked where of high quality. We partially liked white water rafting and glacier lagoon. We are strongly considering planning another trip with them. We were exceptionally pleased with our 7-day Express Iceland self-driving tour along the Ring Road.
Nordic Visitor took care of all the details, and we hit no snags whatsoever in the rental car, accommodations, airport transfers, etc. Our Nordic Visitor representative was a master in communication - extremely prompt, helpful, and courteous. We will definitely be looking into this company again for other Scandinavian trips.
It was a fabulous experience and loved everything about Greenland, especially the Ilussiat Ice Fiord and sailing among the icebergs at midnight.
The local people were very friendly and welcoming. The helicopter ride to the Ilulissat glacier was also a highlight and standing on the ice cap by the glacier was an unforgettable experience. The only hotel that we were disappointed with was in Bergen but we only had to mention it to our travel advisor Kolbrun and she immediately addressed the concern and issued us a credit. We also left a pair of glasses at our hotel in Flam. The hotel staff must have contacted Kolbrun to let her know and she had the glasses returned to us, again great customer service.
We have never had hotel staff find and return lost items before and we really felt Kolbrun was watching over us and had our back. Kolbrun was excellent with everything, and assisted us with a train from Gothenburg to Copenhagen.
I cannot fault anything with our tour experience. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THE PERSONAL SERVICE AND RAPID RESPONSE TO QUERIES.
I AM BASED IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA AND TO BE DEALING WITH AN AGENCY IN ICELAND WAS QUITE SURREAL. I HAD BETTER SERVICE THAN FROM MY LOCAL TRAVEL AGENT HANDLING THE REST OF MY TOUR. KOLBRUN WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY.Everything you need to know about Hand of the Gods from Hi-Rez Studios. Join 1000s of MoneySavers in the Forum's many discussion boards. It's all about 'comping', a potentially profitable hobby. This guide covers sourcing the right free online competitions, using web gadgets to form-fill at speed, free help with tie-breakers and much more. Thanks to the Competition Time board's users, especially comping queen VelvetGlove (see her comping guide for more on lots of the tips below). The aim of this guide is to complement the forum board. Hopefully it will mean more competitions posted, and more prizes for MoneySavers.
Competitions are a cheap chance for companies to promote their wares. Add to that the chance to collect valuable info on potential customers, and it's easy to see why these contests abound. This way, you're statistically more likely to win big. Depending on your work ethic and luck, you could furnish your house, travel the world and boost your bank balance.
Often all entering involves is filling in an online form or sending a postcard, sometimes answering a question or tie-breaker. Plus your gains are tax-free, so unlike other ways to boost your income, the taxman won't get any of it.
Unlike other money-makers, such as Survey Sites, eBay Selling, Facebook Selling, Earning Cash Online and other ways to Boost Your Income, the rewards aren't guaranteed.
Think of comping as a potentially rewarding hobby, rather than a potentially underpaid job. The spirit of comping is it's a bit of fun, rather than a dead cert money-spinner.
Hours can be long, payouts poor and your bum certainly won't thank you for sitting at the computer all day. That said, for those who catch the bug, these become minor details as they enjoy the spirit of community on the board, and hopefully wins flooding in. It's also fun to drool over all those lavish prizes. While we don't want to give anyone the impression that comping is a surefire way to make cash, it is possible to win big.
All she had to do was answer why they deserved to win the wedding. Laura's story is far from a one-off. Needless to say I'm absolutely stunned and beginning to wonder where on earth all these prizes are going to go.I also enjoyed those activities but my favorite was the highland tour (our guide was awesome!. Sorry I don't remember his name) and I also enjoyed the ATV tour.
Thank you for standing by your services and delivering what was promised. If you are a first time visitor to Iceland, and are unsure the best way to go about booking your hotels, must see views, and for peace of mind, this company is the way to go.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and had friendly staff. The tours were very well organised and informative without overloading us with information. Nordic Visitor ensured that we had a smooth uneventful stay. We were greeted warmly by Harold at the airport and taken to the Blue Lagoon.
Harold also gave us our Welcome Pack and took us to our hotel. All the tours that were booked ran to time and the drivers and guides were very friendly and helpful.
It was simple to book our return trip to the airport so there were no worries. Overall a very satisfactory short break. We booked a 9 day full circle self drive. Having someone book everything for you was a big help. We were met at the airport by a very helpful driver with a welcome pack and mobile phone.
The car rental company picked us up the next morning and then off we went. Route 1 was easy to drive around and we saw some amazing scenery on our route. Accomodation was basic with shared bathrooms on the package we chose but they can be pgraded to private. We felt the experience to be a very good experience.
From the start of our query re: taking a holiday in Scandinavia Irja was very helpful - she was quick to respond to our queries and was always polite and helpful.I am very thankful to the course and assistant teachers. I can only add that the course worth its effort and tuition.
Truly wonderful educational experience. Professor Babinec did a wonderful job of leading us through this material. It is obvious that he has a passion for this subject. His breadth of knowledge of and experience with cluster analysis added significantly to the course. He gave very helpful answers in the discussion forum. Anuja, our teaching assistant, was very supportive throughout the course as well. The course material was challenging but fulfilling, helping us appreciate the subtleties of cluster analysis rather than thoughtlessly plunge ahead.
In summary, this was a very satisfying and useful course.
Since we are manipulating tons of data at the customer level for more than 27 countries, R would be the perfect complement tool (we have been using SAS) for customer analytics.
I am new on this R world but I would like to apply it on a daily basis soon. The knowledge I gained I could immediately leverage in my job. I don't believe that I have ever taken a program that more directly impacted my profession as quickly as this program has.
After this course, I have a high level understanding of the various advantages and disadvantages of the commonly used adaptive designs. I will use this information to propose Adaptive Designs at my workplace. I learned that there are several ways to use bootstrap. The course is an excellent starting point for anyone working with this methodology. I intend to use bootstrap in spatial analysis.
This is the best online course I have ever taken. Covers a lot of real-life problems. Good job, thank you very much!. In conjunction with the powerful 'Resampling add-in for Excel' software, resampling methodology seems to be a novel and versatile tool that I expect to frequently use as an adjunct to the more formal established methods of data analysis.
The tools and understanding gained in this course are absolutely vital to the practice of data analytics (at least to an acceptable standard). Thank you for a great course. I have learned an incredible amountI felt this course helped me "unwrap" another layer of R, It helped me become a little more comfortable, and less afraid of writing an R program. I found this course to be very helpful. It wasn't like other courses where you just run example code and change a few things here and there.
I learned a lot and have even applied what I've learned in this course to the other course I'm enrolled in currently. Thank you for the great notes and text. The course helped me learn Tableau and some of the effective Visualization techniques. I really liked the detailed assignments with hints and steps required to perform some of the tasks. The book for this course is very good. Everything is explained in a really clear way. Films are great too and help in understanding issues.
I very much enjoyed the Stats 1 and 2 classes, and I think your book and approach really are excellent. I have taken a variety of stats-type classes, including calculus-based probability, but the re-sampling gave me a much more intuitive understanding than any other approach. I certainly feel that I got my money's worth from this course and this was almost entirely due to the prompt, thoughtful and expert comments of Brady and Andrzej.
I liked the way this course is presented. In this blog post, with the accompanying paper, we will share some of the first results gathered from these simulations. The simulation software itself is currently being prepared for a public release. Learn moreGet updatesGet updates.

Xie Fuzhan Met with FSO Delegation of Price Statistics Mr.Overall the accommodation was excellent and experience was amazing. We had a wonderful holiday in Iceland thanks to Nordic Visitor. What an amazing country. I have eaten Puffin, Horse and Reindeer which I hadn't done in the past. We saw the Northern Lights, geysers, glaciers, and waterfalls.
My wife and I decided to go to Iceland for our honeymoon, and spent some time researching various travel agencies that would help you book a tour of the country. We decided to go with Nordic Visitor's "Winter Romance" package, and it was just perfect. Nordic Visitor was very thorough in booking lots of wonderful places for us to travel to (in our own rental car, rather than on a tour bus or something), and took all the stress out of trying to plan the tour ourselves.
Corresponding with them was fast and easy and they made sure we had everything necessary in order to have the best trip possible. If you decide to plan a similar trip with them, I'd definitely recommend opting for some of the optional activities -- snowmobiling on a glacier is something we'll never forget. Hotel choices were very good as far as location and amenities. Helena was very helpful in making the booking process quick and easy. Helena made some in-trip adjustments for us that were very helpful.
Hotels were fabulous with a great view in almost all of them. The travel agent was amazing.
I booked my trip with him two days before I arrived in Iceland and it was like it had been planned way in advance. He did a great job in determining my tours and was very helpful with organizing my schedule. I had all my travel documents with custom travel booklet including my itinerary, map, and top places to visit in Iceland waiting for me at the hotel when I arrived.
I absolutely loved my trip to Iceland and did not want to leave. I am so thankful for the excellent customer service Nordic Visitor provides and will definitely book with them in the future. Iceland is expensive for us but it was worth every cent. Have already recommended Nordic Visitor to a number of fellow travellers and friends. You should be proud of the service you offer. This was only due to time limitations after arriving from our Iceland flight.
Many thanks for making our adventure to Greenland a truly memorable and treasured trip. Our experience was a very positive one. Got your contact from an article in International Travel News written by someone we had met on a trip to Svalbard with several years earlier. We had a fantastic holiday all round and are very likely to return. The information supplied by Nordic Visitor concerning the volcanic activity was very timely and helpful too.
For us the self-guided tour worked perfectly. The snowmobiling on the glacier tour and the super jeep to Askja were outstanding. The guides were wonderful and the experience was other worldly. The river rafting tour was probably most exciting and fun tour we took and we would highly recommend. Hilmar was an excellent travel consultant.
We made a change in our original plan for the start of the trip shortly before the trip and Hilmar handled everything excellently. From start to finish, it was a very easy experience and we got from the trip exactly what we were expecting and more in most cases. Special thanks to our agent Gudrun who provided us with the package details and answered my questions prior to booking and during our trip.
